today I introduce 1 of food in summer!!

It is eels(うなぎ)!!!!!

Japanese have habit to eat ells in the hottest day of the summer(土用の丑の日).

The reason why we eat ells in this day don't be known the details.

But, according this site,

there is one of interesting story.

In the Edo Era, there was an ell restaurant.

In a summer, the owner was in trouble because ells didn't be sold.

The owner consulted a scholar, and he gave 1 solution.

It was to put up the poster, which were written "Today is ELL day!",

in front of the restaurant.

Then, ells were selling well.

This is the start of our habit to eat ell in summer.

And some region have interesting habit,

which is to eat foods whose letter start from "U (う)".

For example, horsemeat, beaf, gourd, udon, umeboshi, and so on...

These foods are very good for our health!

And if you eat them,

you will prevent poor appetite because of the heat.

This summer will be very hot,

and we have to save electricity....

You should eat ells and the food of summer

Recently, I have many assignments :( ,

also I have to prepare for tests and presentations....

It is really hard :(...

and I'm very tired...

When I am tired,

I really want to eat cakes!!!!!!

My favorite store is "HARBS"!!!!!
